Experience in planning and delivering new casino project

Working for the Rank Group for two years as Project Accountant, I prepared and critiqued business plans for the Grosvenor Casino and Mecca Bingo brands. Such experience, along with operational knowledge gained over other roles enables me to give an expert view on any casino business plan. In another role as Operations Project Manager for the Rank Group, I was responsible for 5 casino relaunches, and have since worked in and around other new site launches.

Familiar with all forms of gaming

Five years within the betting shop industry and three in the bingo industry give me an unusual blend of experience, especially with the new “large” and “small” UK licences in mind.

Understanding customers

Many of my 17 years have been on the front line. From my time serving betting shop customers, through to working as a Casino Dealer, Pit Boss and Inspector, to GM of one of the biggest casinos in the UK (Aspers Newcastle), I understand how gaming customers think and react to management decisions. Don’t underestimate the value of customer knowledge.

I have a degree in Business Economics and Accounting, and my experience in the industry has given me a detailed knowledge of every facet of the business. I will ask the questions that will fill in the blanks and deliver high performing strategies for a successful gaming operation
