Experience in planning and delivering new casino projects
I have project managed 3 of the last six independent casinos to open in the UK - Coral Island Casino Blackpool, Victoria Gate Casino Leeds and Century Casino Bath. I have extensive project appraisal experience from my time as Project Accountant for Rank Group, and carried many of those appraisals through to opening in my role as Operations Project Manager.
I have also acted as a multi site manager for Noble Organisation, and recently worked as MD - Operations and Strategy for the Victoria Gate project through opening and beyond.

A 29 year career working in betting and gaming with the last 13 being as an independent consultant means networking is the centre of my business life, and if I can’t answer a question, I’ll know someone who can help.

Understanding customers
Much of the early part of my career was spent on the front line. From my time serving betting shop customers, through to working as a Casino Dealer, Pit Boss and Inspector, to GM of one of the biggest casinos in the UK (Aspers Newcastle), I understand how gaming customers think and react to management decisions. Don’t underestimate the value of customer knowledge.

My experience in the industry (backed with a degree in Business Economics and Accounting) has given me a detailed knowledge of every facet of the business. I will ask the questions that will fill in the blanks and deliver high performing strategies for a successful gaming operation.
